Guests Hans Hasebos (NL) - vibraphone, David Tronzo (USA) - slide guitar, Mark Alban Lotz (D) - flutes. First a drum intro with secret messages, played on 5 small drums. The piece itself has a 12-bar cycle of three riffs, which differ minimally, introduced by a magic chord each time. The bass flute plays 2 cycles before the theme, after which the improvisations consist of two duets of four cycles each - first marimba and flutes, then marimba and slide guitar - followed with the theme again, and 1 cycle outro. The beat is from Senegal, the title is derived from the latin Loxodontus meaning elephant.
